Due to the sudden nature of school closures on March 12, many students did not have an opportunity to empty their lockers and return schoolbooks.
In compliance with HSE requirements, it will not be possible for your daughter to come to school to empty her own locker this year.
Instead and for this year only, the school will empty student lockers and securely bag all locker content.
Your daughter is invited to come to the school next week to collect her belongings from the school Hall at the designated day and time only for her current year group. It is essential that your daughter only attends at the designated day and time.
All HSE requirements will be in place and students are encouraged to come in on their own, collect their belongings and leave the school grounds without delay. If your daughter does not claim her belongings on that day, they will be disposed of at the end of the day.
We also suggest that arrangements be made to carry and transport the books/materials home e.g. suitable heavy-duty bag/s, portable travel bag with wheels etc. should the need require.
As you will appreciate, we cannot extend the collection beyond this date, so it is essential that all students who have material to collect do so at the specified day and times only. See table below.
Tuesday 23 June for Junior Cycle Students ONLY
9.30 am to 10.30 am: 1st Years
11.00 am to 12 noon: 2nd Years
12.30 pm to 1.30 pm: 3rd Years
Wednesday 24 June for Senior Cycle Students ONLY
9.30 am to 10.30 am: 5th Years (incl. LCA)
11.00 am to 12 noon: TY
12.30 pm to 1.30 pm: 6th Years (incl. LCA)
