On the 11th July 2018, I was given an amazing opportunity to perform music for the British Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Previously I had done a 10 week guitar course with Bimm College at the end of last year. In June 2018 they contacted me and a few other teenagers from around the area to come together and practice for a show. We were not told what it was about.
On the day, we had to be very secretive about who we were performing for. We weren’t allowed post on social meadow until after the event. We were all so ecstatic to meet Their Royal Highnesses. We were extremely lucky to also get picture and be on the news.
It really was a once in a lifetime experience and I am very proud to have been able to take part in this opportunity, which would not have happened without Bimm College.
