Congratulations to the students who were presented awards at the Youth and Community Achievement Awards Ceremony on Thursday 21 November. The annual awards ceremony is sponsored and hosted by the Meath Street Youth Activity Company in conjunction with An Garda Siochana, Kevin Street in Dublin 8.
A selection committee consisting of community leaders and members of An Garda Siochana, gave the youth awards to the Warrenmount students on the basis of distinction shown in the areas of Academics, Sport, Community Involvement and Personal Achievement.
The award recipients were the following:
- Sports Award: Mia Dodd
- Academic Award: Zoe, O’Connor, Amy Whelan, Lottie Smith, Niamh Appleby and Dahab Sharaby
- Community Youth Award: Jodie Branagan, Sophie McCann, Iqrah Muhammad, Jade Byrne, Georgia O’Reilly and Zoe Naughton
The evening showcased the amazing good work being done by all community members – both young and old- in the area. Again, well done to the girls.
